Our goal is to make iguana knowledge easier to navigate without inventing certainty. Species, place and context matter, so broad claims are narrowed whenever the evidence requires it.

Sources

We favor universities, government wildlife agencies, zoological institutions, veterinary references and conservation organizations for factual claims. Community discussions can suggest questions people care about, but they are not treated as scientific authority.

Health boundary

We do not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment or provide drug dosages. Responsible-husbandry pages explain environmental principles and point readers toward professional care when diagnosis is needed.

Corrections

Natural-history knowledge and taxonomy can change. Material factual corrections should be incorporated into the relevant page rather than hidden in a separate correction post.
